Open Water Course on Koh Lanta costs discounted only 13,000 thb (excluding national park fees) for you to get the PADI certification! Our classrooms have maximum 3 students per instructor.
After receiving this certification, you will be able to scuba dive anywhere in the world in depths up to 18 meters.
The PADI Open Water Course is the most popular certification to obtain if you want to be an independent diver: do it on Koh Lanta! The course consists of two parts: dry and wet. The dry part is made up of five theory knowledge developments, five quizzes and a final exam. Comparatively, the wet part consists of a pool session and four open water dives. The open water dives can be done in the most amazing Thailand locations. Some of which are the beautiful Koh Haa, Koh Bida or Koh Rok. You are more than welcome to choose the location for your dives.
We will provide you with PADI e-learning that you will need to complete before the open water dives for the theory part. In general, you can do all the study at the comfort of your home. All is included in the price of the course. Likewise, if you’ve tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving experience or resort course, the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Diver course certification.
Lunch, snacks and drinks onboard of our speedboat are included in the price. In addition, a hotel pick up and drop off are free of charge everyday of the course. We want you to have the best experience possible with Phoenix Divers Koh Lanta!
Furthermore, depending on the day and the group on the boat, an extra dive might be optional for only 900thb on top. This extra dive can be counted as a fun dive or it can be a dive that counts towards the PADI Advanced Open Water Certification. For example, you can do a deep adventure dive or a drift adventure dive in the famous Hin Daeng or Hin Muang dive sites!
